Special alloys for Low Pressure Carburizing
Cronite introduced special alloy Mancellium for Low Pressure Carburizing process and for temperature up to 1000˚C several years ago. (LPC Fixtures)
To follow the market trend in Low pressure carburizing we developed new alloy range called CR alloys with similar characteristic like Mancellium but can be used over 1000˚C.
CR alloys offers a multitude of advantages (LPC Fixtures) :
- Excellent Carbor Resistance comparable with Mancellium
- Limited elongation during the life time
- Strenght of alloy depending on requirement
- No sticking
